Art proofs are only obtained only after order has been placed and deposit received.
Since there is always the possibility of incorrect interpretation and typesetting errors, we request you review the proofs carefully. Delay in approving proofs will result in a delivery extension. Printing trade customs relieve us of responsibility, if work is printed as per Customer’s OK. Decorated or printed products can NOT be returned. Approving a proof is binding and is an acknowledgement that the proof is correct.
These can be emailed to customer – 1st time free, after that, fee of $15 per transfer.
If you have a DST file from your previous embroidery company, you can email us the DST file and we wouldn’t charge a Digitizing Fee.
If you’re bringing your own garments to decorate, we will need the following to process your order:
In order to remain competitive with our prices, we cannot be held responsible for any damage brought to your supplied garments caused by our decoration process. We will inform you, to the best of our knowledge, if your product can or cannot be decorated. However, if your product is damaged in the process, we cannot replace nor reimburse a damaged product. We will, however, replace the printing on another garment you bring in. Customer agrees to these terms when placing an order with Catto’s Graphics.
Cannot combine adult, youth, infant all as one order. Cannot combine different shirt blends, as different materials require different print methods. Please inform us if you have this type of breakdown. If no information is provided, there will be a risk in outcome of your job. Clothes with decoration require special care:
We cannot guarantee the printing integrity after the item has been washed because of the different ways customers wash and dry their garments.
Standard up-charges will be applied to sizes XXL and larger. Normally $2.00 for XXL, $3.00 for XXXL, etc.
2% Misprint factor on Embroidery and Screen printing. Although we try to be perfect, things happen, but we keep to the industry standard of a 2% misprint factor.
The standard trade practice of 10% over/under run applies to Forms and Promotional Product orders.
Forms are subject to 10% plus or 10% minus of the quantity ordered. This is necessary to conserve vital materials and avoid inordinate waste. Press must over run each part of a job in order to provide an adequate supply of each “part” within the form, for collator set-up and run wastage. In addition, bindery and other finishing operations will also incur wastage in the course of set-up and run. Overrun or underruns will not exceed 10% of the quantity ordered. We will bill for the actual quantity delivered within this tolerance.
Price depends on size of logo, amount of colors in the logo, locations of the logo, quantity of pieces, brand of garments, additional finishing, etc.
Blank samples (with NO LOGO) can be returned as long as they are not washed, do not smell like cologne/perfume, are in new condition, and returned within 2 weeks of purchase. Once a logo is on the garment, the product cannot be returned.

Sales Tax will be applied to invoices unless a resale certificate is provided for your order.
Showroom samples can be borrowed for a couple hours at no cost. If we do not have the item you are requesting, we can order it for you! We would only charge you for the shipping. If you decide to keep the sample, we would charge you for the sample and shipping.
Shipping applies to any order not produced in our corporate office in Santa Cruz, CA. If the item is not produced in our corporate office, you have the option of having it shipped directly to you, or to Catto’s Santa Cruz, for you to pick up.
Terms are 50% Deposit and Balance Due when order is complete. Items remain Catto’s property until the invoice is paid in full.
Turnaround time is generally two weeks after the final proof is approved and deposit is received. It also depends on current production schedule at the time of the approval. Rush projects are available at a fee. Contact your Catto’s contact for more information and current turnaround times.
