A proven print winner in the industry. Most garments are printed in this traditional way. It is the most consistent way of printing. See a list of our standard colors – click here. Not recommended for large areas of ink on thin shirts – it creates a “sweat patch”.
Simulated process printing uses up to 10 colors to get photo realistic images
Waterbase inks soak into the garment rather than sitting on top like plastisol inks. Not all artwork is a good fit for this type of printing. It is best to email us and let our experts give you advice on what print method best suits your image. If a PMS color is chosen, it will vary in shade, either 2 shades darker or lighter. Excellent for a “no-feel” hand or image where color is not crucial.
Discharge printing works best on 100% cotton garments. You can create an unexpected but unique outcome with blended garments. Discharge Printing is also a water-based product that is formulated to deactivate (or bleach) the dyes used on natural fabrics. It creates a soft imprint. On most dark garments it creates a soft print that looks like natural (off white) cotton. Some materials are more resistant than others and don’t discharge as well – for example kelly greens, purples, and royal blues. When discharged, these resistant fabric dyes yield a more muted print that is usually a lighter tint of the base fabric color. Please note that the imprint colors cannot match 100% from run to run due to the garment brand, blend, size, and garment color. It will however, be close. All this being said, customers looking for a “no-feel” hand or a vintage, muted, earthy look, LOVE this process.
We can go as low as 24 pieces
Yes! This is called Contract Decoration. Refer to the General Information for instructions, under CONTRACT ORDERS.
We do not charge for misprints and recycle them in the shop as cleanup rags.
We try not to print larger than 14” x 17”, but send us your idea and we’ll see what we can do!
Every shop’s setup, screen and film process is different. The setup that we charge is the labor it takes to maximize the artwork the customer has given us with the equipment we have to reproduce it. It includes taping, emulsion, and burning of the screens.
We can, provided we are given the names in an excel format. Contact us for more information.
Yes! Clothes with decoration require special care:
We cannot guarantee the printing integrity after the item has been washed because of the different ways customers wash and dry their garments.
We can do a less than minimum order, but in reality you’ll be paying the same as if you were to do 24 pieces.
